The seismic retrofitting project aims to enhance the structural stability and resilience of 10 buildings against seismic movements. The scope of work includes demolition, concrete work, structural steel, and framing installation, as well as stucco and paint application. One of the primary challenges of this project was to maintain comfort and safety for the occupants who continued living in the buildings during the retrofitting process. This requires careful planning, communication, and execution to minimize disruptions to their routines and ensure their safety at all times. Additionally, coordinating construction activities in inhabited buildings presents logistical challenges, including access restrictions and noise mitigation measures.
